Add yourself as a friend and write a testimonial to yourself (Bug)

In Orkut, we cannot add ourselves cant sent a testimonial to ourselves ..

But as per its orkut, things change from time to time..

As many errors happens, and we call it orkut bugs!

Recently someone discovered a bug of "adding ourself and senting testimonial to the same in orkut"

So I am Obliged to share it here ;)

It is actually quite hard to explain via mere sentences..

But one of my friend "Mathew" made it easy by making a video tutorial about it..

How to Add Images in your About Me Section - Orkut New Version

Now you can add a image to your about me section


just check out the below picture .. you'll understand everything ..









Now coming to the point .. how to add images like this ?

1. Upload any images to your orkut album..

2. Copy the Url of the image

3. Paste it on your About me

Example :

After uploading an image .. you can get a url like this

The first time you insert .. it wont show the images.. just refresh and try it 2 or 3 times.. You can get the image ..

Orkut BUG | Add Yourself in Your Own Profile

Orkut Bugs are the Unwanted Cluster of Scripts which are generated. As Orkut is One of  Top 10 Social Networking Sites in the World Wide Web, the bug report getting its rank down. The Developers need to burp up their brain hard to get rid of this. Recently, I saw one cool bug; i.e. adding yourself in your Own Orkut Profile! Yes Get your own friend request and see yourself in Mutual friends.

All you have to follow these easy Steps :

1. Login to Orkut Your Profile.

2. At bottom of right side sidebar there is an option "invite friends" enter any random e-mail id which does not exist. Make sure to keep a note of it then click on. Once you do this a notification comes up saying "An invitation has been sent to < Blah@gmail.com> so that Blah@gmail.com can join the Orkut community. Blah@gmail.com has also been added to your friends list."

3. No Navigate to "Friends" option which is on top menu and near to Orkut logo

4. Now you will see the e-mail id which you added recently saying Blah@gmail.com "has not joined." in your all friends. Right side of it you will find two options Send New Invitation and Edit.

5. Click on Edit option and replace Your_Mail_ID@gmail.com with your own Orkut profile mail id and click on Update option

6. Now login to your Orkut Default mail account, you will receive e-mail from Orkut saying "Your Name" wants you to join orkut. Click on Join now! option.

7. It will redirect you to Orkut signup page. Click on "Sign up for orkut and connect to Your Name" now you will be redirected to Google Account page where it will ask you to fill your information. You don’t have to fill it. On top there is an option which says "Your Google Account gives you access to orkut and other Google services. If you already have a Google Account, you can sign in here." Click on sign in

8. Now sign in with your Orkut password.

9. Now you will receive Friendship request from your self Don’t add it. (Don’t Do anything)

10. Now repeat same thing 5-10 times with same mail id which you used before.

11. Once you have done from  5-10 times, now it will automatically add yourself as your friend.
P.S.
If you clicked on "Yes" in friend request then Bug will be Disabled and It generates a series of permanent request from your profile! So avoid Accepting request rather than be patient and Try the bugging!

Add Invisible Flash Music to Orkut

Hmm..
You guys need to show off to your Friends and Visitors who visits your profile and think wow.. How can he get that song which runs automatically when we open his profile and close when we navigate from that profile!

Well, let disclose all the secrets :D. Lets make it public and reveal the trick. Guys as you know the New Orkut version will now supports flash include in the internal details of Profile! All you guys need to select a song from different sites available, Copy its HTML Code and Paste to your Scrapbook in Old Orkut.

Before going in advance, lets discuss the basic trick to enter the Flash Images or Songs in About me! Those who don't know how to put up any flash image/material in about me read this carefully. Because adding Music and Image is almost same!! (You're at right place!)

For instance, we go to http://www.mp3-codes.com/ . Enter in search any Band name like Nirvana.

Now, Select any song like am doing here In Bloom - Nirvana. A new window will let you to navigate to the location of the Song!

Cool! Now select its Embed Code:

Okay! Did you see this Selected Area?? Watch this Carefully.

Bingo! The Height =108 and Width = 305, all you need to do is Change it to 1 and 1 respectively.
Click Preview Now!
It will apperar like this..

Bwaahaa.. Its now disappeared and Song is still running automatically!! Now you say Shobhit, Thanks Man!! Ha Ha.. lol.. No need its not so great. Perhaps, Your main work starts now..
Select the hidden area as I did here!

What ar you waiting for?? Hit Ctrl+C Now!!

Now, Navigate from Old Orkut to New Orkut!!

Go to Your Profile! :-P

Click on edit about me! :-D

Hit CTRL+V,

Bingo!! :-) There you go.. You see nothing there but your work is Done!! Yay!!

Without wasting any time Click on Save Button
 And Then See the Magic Same you have to do with Flash Images and other Stuffs.

Perform it. I have disclosed each and every single detail here!
